Aiguablava

Clouds and sunny intervals in the morning. We explored Begur including climbing up to the castle at the top of the town. We were rewarded with lovely views over the coast.
The clouds cleared in the afternoon and so we decided to visit the local beaches/coves around Begur. We walked (cliff trail) to quite a few of them but this was our favourite. It has a proper sandy beach rather than shingle and the water really is this fabulous colour! Very few people on it today but I imagine that it would be packed in the summer. We enjoyed a lovely swim here. The water was warmer than the north of Spain.
