Chatham Island Forget-Me-Not
Myosotidium hortensia are natives of the Chatham Islands and flourish in damp shaded spots. They are the only species in their genus and belong to the family Boraginaceae. They are much bigger than their European namesakes, and don't spread like weeds (thankfully).
I have a couple of perfect locations for them around the property. These ones are flourishing on the southern side of the guest cabin and have just come out in the last week. They will continue flowering off and on for a few months.
We have intermittent internet at the moment, so I may not be around as much as usual...
