A ceramic protea

Today I cycled to Walton along the towpath and back on the road on the other side of the river so that I could visit the Sunbury Embroidery Gallery for the exhibition there.
The blip is a very detailed ceramic flower…a protea. Many of the other exhibits were sea creatures such as sea urchins. Also outside in the gardens were some giant ‘toadstools’. 
The artist is Frances Doherty who is a ceramic sculptur.
