Another toy not needed anymore!

A lovely sunny day but I failed to get any good photos outside as we had the family to lunch etc. there has also been a nice sunset.

More sorting out of toys which the grandchildren no longer need while they were here. This is a nice alphabet abacus which I bought in a charity shop which can now go to another home. Not needed now that the older two can read. I like this as it’s made of wood and looks OK in any room, unlike lots of the plastic stuff these days.

Coincidentally I happened upon a woodworking competition on TV yesterday, in the style of Bake-off and presented by Mel Gedroc, and they were making traditional wooden toys for children.
