Snipe #92

We had a few hours at Lunt Meadows today in the sunshine and it was fabulous. Who would have thought it would still be over 20 degrees in October? 
There were lots of Snipe around today all trying to hide amongst the reeds, but this one hadn't got the memo and was happily sitting out in the open for a couple of minutes, giving us some great views. I just love their long beaks and the wonderful patterning on their backs. Great birds.
