Journies at home

Fernando

Fernando has done his transhumance from the garden to the house and  has taken a bit of a battering from the sun and the rain.
The lady in the shop under the Couverts told me that he could weather any conditions and that he was supposed to turn rusty, but I wasn't so sure.
He's spent 5 years being weathered and turning rusty and I finally took pity.
William Morris said that you should have nothing in your house that is not beautiful and useful.  Fernando is beautiful and if we leave him by the fire all evening he becomes a radiator that we take to the bedroom when we go to sleep.
Win win.
