Suter Art Gallery

Approaching the Suter Art Gallery from the walk around the pond in the Queen's Gardens.
The gallery is named after the second Bishop of Nelson. He was a painter and collector of art. When he passed away his wife donated land, money and his art collection to start up the gallery.
A new modern part has been added with a cafe and cinema.
The gardens are named for Queen Victoria to celebrate her Jubilee in 1892.
