Along riverbanks and in native bush you will see various sizes of boxes that lure in pests such as rats, stoats, possums, etc., to keep our native fauna and flora safe.
This one was on the banks of the Maitai River which, on it's way to the sea, flows through the centre of Nelson, NZ
