Mr. Leroy and the Mums

We have a life-size bronze statue downtown that showcases "The Game."

"The Game" consists of 3 poker players...Mr.Fenton, Mr. Leroy, and Mr. Rockwell.

As legend has it, Mr. Fenton won the hand, and got to name the town after himself. Mr. Leroy (pictured) lost the hand, so he got to name the main street after himself. And, I don't know how Mr. Rockwell fits in, but he also got a street named after him.

In full disclosure, the afternoon light was not good, so I couldn't get both statue and flower in focus. So, I shot the statue, then shot the flower...then photo-shopped them together.
