Day 4 Level 3 Lockdown Step 1

We had another lovely morning today.  We arranged to meet another of our friends, this time in Mission Bay.  We bought coffee then walked up to the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park at Bastion Point (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bastion_Point), where it wasn’t quite as busy as in Mission Bay.  We spent an enjoyable hour sitting in the sun chatting, drinking our coffee and having lots of laughs.

At top left of the blip is a close up of a flower on an Erythrina tree that we walked past on our way home. Bottom left shows part of the gardens and lawn at Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Joseph_Savage), with some family groups enjoying being able to spend time together and the harbour in the background behind the trees.  On the right is the memorial obelisk with the reflecting pool in front.

There were 34 new community cases today, 3 of those in the Waikato region and 31 in Auckland.
