Seaton Park

A very cloudy day and rain most of the afternoon. We managed a visit to Seaton Park in the morning as well a Cruikshank Gardens and a wander round Old Aberdeen.

By the time we had completed our walk it was starting to rain. Quite light rain at first. Even though I was carrying an umbrella I did not bother to put it up. Soon the rain became quite heavy, but by then we had taken shelter.

We came across two lighthouses today, one of which can be seen in this photograph (just about).

Dinner at the local hotel in the evening. Pleasant until the overspill from a wedding arrived to watch a football match on television. Lots pf shouting and any idea of wearing masks when walking around the restaurant totally forgotten. They were out of control and the hotel management and staff unable to to intervene in any meaningful way.
