Bug
Gardening day. The new pond now has 4 frogs, several dragonflies, diving beetles and various bathing pigeons/doves.
Spent a very pleasant 30 minutes photographing wildlife from a slightly hidden position behind a tree. Some slightly obscured shots of a song thrush on the way for a drink, this dragonfly, and an inquisitive chiffchaff who came and sat in my camouflage tree for a better look at me.
Later, a glorious hour catching up on the papers on the terrace with a cool beer. The hens bothered me for crisps, including jumping up on my knee, then sitting under the chair for a good preen. In that scenario I think my job is look out hen, not reading the papers hen.
Busy week next week, and a short one as I’m off to Portsmouth on Friday!
