Sunrise to Sunset
Clockwise from top left.
This morning when I got up about 7am.
Violas and Cyclamen from the garden centre.
Horses (and a zebra!) in the field next to our mooring.
Sunset about 7pm
I did my Inktober drawing first thing -
the prompt was Pick so I drew a hand finger picking a guitar.
Then after a cuppa I started on the mooring garden - what a job! The grass creeps in from the field behind and deep rooted thistles resist being pulled. I got half of it done and planted some spring bulbs around the flowering black currant shrub.
I had just come inside and Frank was getting the curry on when I saw Bella jump on the tow path and race off up the path then back again to grab a toy. We knew straightaway who was coming - Eddie the sign writer/painter. We haven’t seen him for ages so a long chin wag followed and Bella May was in her element.
I forgot to say yesterday, we met a lovely little cat yesterday - a young stripey girl called Luna. I said to the owner that Bella loves cats and he said that Luna loves dogs so there ensued a bit of sniffing and some nose ‘kissing’. I love it when cats aren’t afraid of our Bella. Mind you, most dogs would probably chase!
It’s been a lovely day.
Hope it has been for you too.
Goodnight :-)x
