WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Fancy Shoes!

I wish I'd seen these before the 'Fancy' prompt for inktober!
Aren't they fabulous?!!!
Sadly I never go anywhere to wear such frivolous footwear and even less so now!

Frank was up at 3.30 am. I came down at 5.30 when I noticed he wasn't there and he was sitting drawing his inktober and had an AC~DC video on! He started his steroids again. I told him he was as bad as Trump!

We went for our flu jabs today - it's the first time I've had one.
I now have a sore arm.
While we were there I popped in to the little fabric shop in Settle to see if she had some boy themed fabrics. She didn't have anything suitable really except one with Harry Potter badges on so I got that. Sue the owner was telling me she's having problems sourcing fabrics and knitting wool because goods that are coming into the country are spending so long in containers at the ports as they have to quarantine everything and also production of these things is much reduced due to factory workers being laid off or ill. She said this will be the same for many goods and advised me to buy any things we need now before they become scarce.

I did my inktober drawing this morning but because I'd used various types of pens - Crayola felt tips, Faber Castell pens, biro and inktense coloured pencils it didn't photograph well.
So I did another using mainly the Crayola ones. A bit happier with it now. The prompt was 'Hope' so I drew packets of seeds as that's what got me through the initial lockdown back in April/May.

It's a beautiful day here today - a bit on the cool side but blue sky and sunny.

Have a good evening :-)X
