"Seconds away".

Sundays tend to be very quiet lazy days in our house.  As a result I try to find something readily available and easy.  Often that means a bird through the window.  Today it meant birds through the window.  I took some shots of the female Pheasant with her three poults.

Passing the window I noticed six greenfinches.  Very pleasing as I have said before they have had a crash in population in recent years.  They are always bickering among themselves and never satisfied with how things are going.  As you can see despite there being an unoccupied perch one wanted the others place.  The possessor of the perch was having none of it.

The extra shows the situation a fraction of a second later.
