Spooky

This plaque has recently been unveiled outside Tesco's in the village of Greenfield, where my mum lives. It commemorates a fireman who died tackling a fire at the mill which used to stand there in the 1950s.
Went out for tea with my mum and her friend Pauline whose ex husband used to have a printing business in part of the building when the mill stopped being a mill. Apparently, one night he returned home as white as a sheet because, while working late, he'd turned around to find a fireman standing staring at him. According to Pauline he refused to work there after dark again :0
