A study in eccentricity (:

It has been a pleasure to meet and work with Peter this week... he is a true old style eccentric! We were on the "reject" stand - only got on the show because the boss got an extra stand for free... each day a different rep from the "big boys' stand" had to come to our stand... Some of them made it clear they considered themselves above us (though most, humiliatingly, actually sold less than us when on our stand, which was in a less favourable position...), but today's rep, Simon, seemed to enjoy the less competitive, more collegial vibe on "our" stand, and wasn't his usual hyper-critical self... (he still sold less than we did!!).
I really felt in my element today doing my tastings, and one couple in particular were very enthusiastic about how much they'd enjoyed it (I told them, genuinely, I did too!!). Over £1.5K from 5 orders today, my best day of the week...
Drove van from NEC to Shawbury HQ, then my car from there to home. Now chilling at home, at last, looking forward to BGCoffee and BGLeyna's arrival tomorrow (:
