World Mental Health Day

We all have a mental health. Every day should really be designated such a day. Looking out for each other, listening to each other. Being there when times get tough. Taking time to rest minds in the same way that we have learnt, more easily, to rest our bodies is a significant key to nurturing our mental health.

Somehow, when the sun shines, as it did again all day here today, it is easier to feel mentally healthy. Long may the autumn sun shine, I say!

The built environment impacts on our mental health too. My blip shows some aquilegia that have taken root on the concrete patio at our rental house. Nature prevailing over man made material!

We took advantage of the sunshine to do some more tidying in our new garden, sweeping out the dusty garage, learning how to operate the garage door and finding fascinating evidence of the previous owners longevity in what is now our house.
