Third Cabin Still Life

This property has been in my wife’s family since the 30’s, and the original cabin was built some years before that. The place is a satisfying mix of old and new — like staying inside a time capsule where you are simultaneously picking through artifacts of the past and leaving behind items for the future. The third cabin is mostly unused so the items lying around are a curious mix.

One regret about this weekend is that the Blipfoto app on my phone doesn’t allow me to post any extras, and I have several photos I’m rather excited about. When I get home I’ll go back and add them to the proper day after the fact.
