View from a train

This is the view from my London bound train as we sat at Shrewsbury station waiting to depart. PY and I were taking one of the very few direct trains. During the week the direct train departs at 0639 but on a Sunday it’s at the much more civilised 1524. I wish it were a little later because one of the advantages of the direct train should be that it facilitates a later departure because we would not have to build in connection times into our journey plans. Still, we arrived at about 1800 and were able to cross London in time for dinner. We’d ordered another To Good To Go bag from the local petrol station which provided things for dinner.
