Working in difficult conditions
I found this work going on near the priory ruins this morning, despite the weather. I'm not certain that it relates to the park (though possibly relates to the planned lighting of the ruins at night). There is still quite a lot of snow around here, and indeed we had some more snow flakes falling earlier in the day. At the other end of the park we had a delivery of some more new tress early on, and by mid-day most of them had been planted, though there was just as much snow in that part of the park. I took some pictures today with both the Samsung and the iPhone, and I'm rather disturbed that the image quality seems better with the iPhone, though of course it is less versatile (eg using the zoom to alter perspective with the Samsung). Both were very difficult to use with only an LCD display, and the bright snow made it almost impossible to alter the device settings (eg screen brightness), let alone see what I was photographing on the screen - if I had anticipated that there would be any work going on in these conditions, I would have taken a proper camera (ie one wih at least a viewfinder).
