Now you don't... 

After school fun to entertain two tired children.  One because he didn't go to sleep until at least 9.30 last night (the eldest!) and one because we were all up early to take the husband to the station. 

A day of catching up on so many things for me after a few days away.  And of course it's all the small jobs that end up taking pretty much all of the day.  

Beautiful autumnal day, I got out for a lovely lunch time walk with the dog and enjoyed the fresh air (and break).  

The husband and I have just spent about 10 minutes trying to track down an odd noise in the house, only to realise that the strange electric (slightly worrying) humming was a broken electric toothbrush I'd thrown away in the bin. It's probably about as exciting as today gets! 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The eldest working so hard to cheer up a very tearful (tired) youngest on the way home from school, he told all kinds of (incredibly unfunny) jokes, and got lots of laughs 
Beautiful autumnal day
The boys asking if they could hurry up and finish their dinner so we could collect daddy from the bus stop and save him walking home
