Snowy Ben

Although it was still extremely cold, the sun was shining this morning, so I took a jaunt down to Lomond Shores in search of a decent blip from the southern end of Loch Lomond.

The only previous one back in November was in foggy conditions, so I wanted to get a clear shot. Ben Lomond is certainly looking majestic today! It looks as if the shallower water in the foreground is semi-frozen.

You can see the paddle steamer 'Maid of the Loch' nestling in her berth on the right. I wonder if the Preservation Society will attain its target of getting the Maid back in operation this year...
