Another Grand Night Out

Having been in Edinburgh yesterday delivering paintings I was back in the capital today, this time travelling by train, to meet D#1 who had gone through earlier in the morning for a business meeting.

We took advantage of the pre-theatre menu in Smoke Stack in Broughton Street before going to The Playhouse for a splendid performance of 'West Side Story'. The Bernstein score, of course, was wonderful! We marvelled at the fantastic dancers having the puff to sing after a highly energetic routine, and like everyone else in the theatre we giggled at the fright we got when the gun went off even though we knew it was coming.

Unlike my previous trip to the theatre, the journey back to Stirling on the train was uneventful, and we arrived back home at midnight.
