Lots of pumpkins etc at RHS Wisley

Visited Wisley today and this display was just inside the main entrance.  Notice the lack of other people in the background…at 10.30…very different from last year when it was very crowded when you had to book every day and there were often queues to get in as not too many other places for people to go to! Also today the M25 was closed because of an accident between J10 and J11 for a long time so there were big traffic jams on the A3 near Wisley and the M25 junction.

The gardens were looking lovely with lots of autumn colour  on shrubs and trees and also still lots of flowers like dahlias. Plus nerines and giant crocuses flowering too.
I remember seeing some lovely nerines this time last year and because of that bought some bulbs myself. So far they have only produced leaves…no flowers or any sign of any which is disappointing.
