What a difference...

... a day makes. These chrysanthemums have opened up amazingly since they had their hairnets on yesterday. This shot doesn't really do their colour justice but their provision of multiple blips is very welcome on these days when I am leaving and returning in the dark. 

The daylight bit included teaching, being on duty (in the rain) and meetings. There was a natural end to things when the contractors tripped the electrics momentarily, turning my computer off in the process.
