Soccer practice (in the rain)

I'm with the grands all this week, and today Evan had soccer practice. We  got to the field on time, but his coach and team mates never showed up. We wondered if maybe practice had been cancelled beause of the rain and we didn't get the message. Older kids were practicing in the rain, and this colorful group caught my eye.

I have been worried all day about what may happen tonight. A group of young antifascists and anarchists, many of whom I know, is meeting to "light up the night" for Sean Kealiher, who was murdered two years ago tonight. His murderer has never been charged. His mother, Laura Kealiher, organized the event. She has received death threats from extreme right-wingers who say they will be there, armed and ready to fight. The back story with photos is here.
