Back to Calke Abbey

It was raining as I drove there, but the weather and the light kept changing.

It’s usually a fabulous place to visit but today was special. There’s a terrific photographic exhibition just close to the Orangery, and I could swear the deer were posing.  

Hardly a soul there. Definitely one of my happy places.
