RSPB Middleton Lakes

After I’d struggled walking yesterday, I decided to try out a flat path, with seats, and plenty to watch.

The misty weather cleared after a while and I took breaks to watch robins, a lovely nuthatch and all sorts of tits.

I made it further than I’d hoped, as far as the lakes themselves, missing shots of the Great White Egret and herons.

Lots to choose from today, but I went for  a spot where the light was stunning, near the way out by the car park.
