It's not all work.

Did more jobs in the garden today but Ruby and Eric were here until 3pm and Buddy until 11am when we went to get Joanne. Johanna snapped me reading to the three of them, Hendrix was at school.
Worked some of the jobs in around the children and, good news, Marlane is feeling painful but not as bad as yesterday so she spent the whole day with the children. Her ankle is still very painful but the elastic bandage seems to be helping. She was even in the garden this afternoon carrying bricks to me while I laid a new path, different one to yesterdays.
Had a surprise this morning when Dhylan, 17, turned up at 8am asking if he could have a lift to work, he has a flat tyre on his bike. With the traffic that time of the morning it took 50 minutes to cover the round trip. It's 9.5 miles round trip which google maps tells me will take 24 minutes! Got back just in time to pick up Hendrix's bag and coat and get him to school.
