After a lovely evening yesterday catching up with a couple of friends I haven't seen for 2 years Jorgie and I headed down to Hengisbury Head for our morning yomp.
Plenty of waders enjoying the smelly mud flats of Christchurch Harbour but nothing took my interest.
On the way home I stopped off at Burton Bradstock. Motorhomes have been allocated parking spaces right on the front so we had great views of the beach.
I noticed the sea was 'bubbling' in places and later went to investigate.
Mackerel had driven thousands of Whitebait in and, as the waves receeded, their lifeless bodies were left littering the high tide line.
As far as you could see there was a silver line of fish
Just a record shot today.
