Comfort food

Comfort food for tea.
Pasta with Puttanesca sauce, followed by
Apples and plums, with a cinnamon and orange crumble topping. (in the picture)
With custard of course!

Still lots of snow with us. Also more of those little white flakes coming down from the sky!

My heart goes out to the farmers trying to rescue their sheep, and the people who have been without electric for so long.

We went down into Leeds today and there was no snow there, or very little.
Then coming home, back through Tong village, there were drifts, in places at the side of the road, higher than I can remember.

School Easter holidays start tomorrow, and it sounds like much of the same .
So different from the 20c we had last year, and I said the primulas were dying because lack of water!
I hope there will be no mention of draught later on this year!
