Plot number for the allotment!

Today I finished a new plot number to put up on our allotment. You have to have a visible number at all times or you get reprimanded when inspections take place. We inherited a number which sometimes get covered with clematis, it is also looking shabby so time for a new one in a different position.
I was going to paint a number but my friend who I share the plot with said she had this pyrography kit at home to ‘ burn’ the wood. I’ve never used anything like this before but thought I would give it a go. Not too difficult but the different ‘ heads’ were very small and the handle got very very hot.

I also went to the allotment this afternoon while it was sunny and took down one of the lots of runner beans as all finished.
