Great Missenden

Dropped D&L at Heathrow... drove to Great Missenden (show here next three days)... lovely breakfast in "Matilda's Bistro"... visit to Roald Dahl museum (blue house down the street on left in blip), quite interesting!! What's your favourite Roald Dahl story? (do tell me in comments). I loved Danny The Champion of the World as a kid, but they're all good (Hilary was brilliant reading The Witches to the girls in a Norwegian accent, BFG has a special place in my heart... so many more). Snoozed in the sun waiting for Peter and Gordon to arrive, watched a family of red kites swooping around, set up show, drove to Travelodge in High Wycombe, chatted with Gert on phone, out for burger and a pint, then bed - not quite up to last night's standards, but I'm not sharing at least - yay!
Oh, and in between times finalised the order I mentioned yesterday... discovered how many bottles of the wine were left in stock... not hard to guess if you know me well (see extra)... and customer said he'd have them all... my first £2K order with Shawbury... what a great week I'm having!!
