HISTORIC UCKFIELD TOUR: PUDDINGCAKE LANE

This is Puddingcake Lane!
I haven't been able to find out anything much about it, but it's such a funny name I thought you'd like to see it while we're here.
This house might be called Milton Cottage – or it might not be, because it doesn't say – but I expect the postman knows so let's not worry our heads about it!
I think this might be a Grade II Listed Building, but let's face it – you're not really interested whether it is or not…
This lane is so narrow that someone's applied for permission to build a car turntable in it!
Next time we'll we'll walk back along Church Lane to take a look at the medieval Maiden's Head…
