A Plaice In The Sun

Firstly let me apologise for the very feeble fish based pun of the title!
This little old wooden sea dog of a fisherman has been sitting on the shelf in my bedroom for years and I felt he deserved a chance in the limelight (or orange light in this case!). I thought he needed a bright background to go with his coat and hat so I decided to try and create an artificial sun (not something I do every day!) as a form of illumination. This is the best I could do - I bounced the light from a table lamp off the TV screen in the background. The light did end up being a bit too strong and created a fair amount of heat so I had to remove him fairly promptly after I had taken the shot - I didn't want him getting sunburnt, or catching light for that matter!
