Two for Joy!

I put Bella’s breakfast outside today as she can get defensive if wee Millie, Sabrina’s Cairn Terrier is around when she’s eating.
Bella didn’t eat it all and later these two magpies spied the bowl and kept flying to and fro helping themselves.
The photos don’t do justice to the iridescence on their feathers. I love these birds. So cheeky and beautiful.
2nd day of babysitting and the girls were happy playing with their generation dolls this morning, then a bit of kids TV, a bit of piano playing and some drawing. They played out for a while too but after I had struggled to get the go carts out which had been put away at the back of the shed they played on them for all of 5 minutes!

Frank made a vegan chilli for tea which poor John couldn’t taste as he’s lost it since Covid.

I’ve decided to go back down with Frank tomorrow instead of staying till Tuesday morning. They will all be out at different things over the weekend and Sabrina and John will be working Mon + Tues and the girls at school.

We are stopping off in Dumfries on the way home tomorrow to see My stepdaughter Anna and  Poppy and Arlo. Anna will be singing at an event in the town centre tomorrow. She has a beautiful voice.

I just had FaceTime with my brother Tony(Ant) and SiL Diane who live in Eastbourne. It’s always good to chat and laugh with them.

Well, I’m going to sit with the girls now before they go to bed.
