It's the time of year...

... when I am working on the photos for the Harrogate Library Calendar. I blipped one of the scenes about a week ago. Here is another which might make it into the calendar.

This ties in with the work of a small group of us, organising and preserving the library cataloguing a few thousand old photos. 

We started to produce a calendar a few years ago, each month displaying one of the old the photos and a corresponding shot of the same scene today. 

Some of the scenes have changed considerably (as here) whilst others contain the same buildings with little change except for their use.

I was out an about this morning, in the lovely weather, taking some more of the 'Now' photos.
