Another Crop Appears

The day length has shortened noticeably over the last two weeks. Today’s Blipfoto is almost sunrise just after 8:00 in the morning. A bright day highlighting the shoots of the new crop which has taken the place of the potato crop.

I liked the image and the very bright green. It is a much crisper colder day, which was hardly a surprise.

The post also delivered a blue NHS envelope containing the appointment details for my flu jab and the Covid Booster vaccination. Exactly 24 weeks after the second vaccination.

After a trip to St Andrews, to sort out several business matters we returned to enjoy a relaxing lunch and a relatively lazy afternoon.

We picked up more blueberries and strawberries from the Strawberry Hut which shuts down for the year this weekend.

The change in temperature and the very short days is likely to mean that actual work on the stone carving may be postponed till the Spring.
