Good Companions

Volunteering at Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse today by special request.

Pat and I usually volunteer on a Sunday, but we are needed to guide today.

The weather starts off wet and stormy. The sun eventually makes an appearance but the breeze is chilly.

The number of visitors is high and the day goes by quickly. The day is more enjoyable when there is interaction with many questions being asked and usually answered.

Apparently Culross Palace is closed today. Outlander film crew has been on location. Very few if ever admit to watching Outlander.

I always recommend other NTS properties to visit. This is much appreciated by visitors from other lands.

And today’s entry is part of the collection. I like this particular Chinese porcelain and I know very little about it.
