Christmas?

They keep talking about Christmas on tv. Order a sofa and it can be with you for Christmas! Why would we need a new sofa for Christmas? Adverts for luxury perfumes and expensive alcohol are proliferating. And it is only the middle of October.
My Christmas cactus is joining in and has burst into flower. It has been outside all summer but I brought it indoors when I first saw signs of flowers. It is a tiny plant, but it has really excelled itself.
