The golden hour

we met a friend today and headed off to a local exhibition.. there were some fantastic works on show and a raffle I rather hope to win.. a huge hamper of local goodies!
Then off to lunch with friends.. what a treat we have really missed seeing eachother for so long and the laughter and conversation went on and on till I said we should head home we were not allowed to .. instead we headed out for a short walk. The sun had come out after a damp start to the day and the light was just beautiful.. the golden hour.  Then tea and cake (non for me) before being allowed to leave.  There is nothing like the company of close friends and we have had a wonderful day.
