Sugarcraft

Tom and I had a very nice and rather frustrating evening discovering that our grand plan to win the rowing club cake competition may be flawed. We planned a long cake with a central river in blue icing and some scullers racing along it. Turns out that Tom's fingers are too big for the fiddly stuff and sugar paste is hard to shape. There was plenty of laughter as our podgy little sugar rowers wilted and dribbled around. And then Tom asked me to try and ice sunglasses on them..... should have said 'no'.....

Next step to try and make bushes out of green icing. I'll be sure to blip the finished product.
