Keep or bin?

I am sorting out stuff. Some things I have no current use for but might keep in case they 'come in handy' one day. After all, you never know when you might need an inspirational quote.

I'm trying to work out what to keep and what gets binned…..

Tom is being weaned off the painkillers but is in some discomfort today.
He continues to evade school work despite his teacher setting a countdown clock for the exams - I'm starting to despair of him.
