Life in the Shadow of Death

Day 4: Ferry from Kagoshima cancelled due to a storm, so stayed at the last minute on sakurajima, a volcano, with a hippy and an Okinawan muscician. At dawn we had to take a short ferry to get the main ferry to yakushima. Nice view of the volcano with sun rising over it, and saw one lonely guy on the harbour wall.
