Flower Friday ...

... surprise butterfly porn!

We are still lucky enough to have some of our flowers blooming ... well into October.  I was out looking around the yard photographing said flowers when I stumbled upon these two cabbage white butterflies.  

I took a couple of pictures and then gave them some privacy.  It seems a little late in the year for this but hey who am I to say!

I've added an extra of a Blue Jay and a female Northern Cardinal.  The Blue Jays are getting bold as you please and I was no more than a couple of feet away when I took this picture.  And my zoom lens wasn't even at full length.
