A walk along a muddy Cut Lane.
The Feast Day of St. John Brebeuf.
Today it is 18c according to the laptop, but it feels much colder. There is a brisk wind, blowing the falling leaves into the air like colourful confetti. I went for a long walk, well wrapped up of course, following one of my favourite routes, to try and shed my extra pound of weight. I must have walked at least 4000 steps, but I didn't have my Fitbud lanyard. with me. I am glad to say it is brightening up a little, after a dull, low light morning with mist on the distance hills around Pendle.
Yesterday evening I watched Landmark and they were awarding a prestigious prize for an art installation in Coventry, this year's City of Culture. We watched how the various craftsmen helped to construct the
abstract figure designed by Favour Jonathan, and she was delighted to be the winner.
Well tonight we hope to be watching the GBBO.
Take care blip friends in this spell of changeable weather and thanks for visiting my site today.
