The Castle at Castle Acre

It is no longer inhabited, by humans
There is a modern bridge over the moat (completely dry) to access the main castle, you can see it just left of centre.
It is a great place for kids to run around and explore because they would struggle to break it any more than it is already broken. The moat is especially good for kids as it goes right round the castle and is in a deep cutting, almost impossible to climb out off. You set the kids off running and sooner or later they will appear at the other end. Well this is the theory and we have not lost any of them yet.
