Today's the day ........................ to cancel

It's all been a bit of a non-event today.

I was looking forward to going to the Tongland Abbey Dig - but that was cancelled last night because of the horrendous weather forecast for today.  And as that turned out to be pretty much correct, it's probably just as well that it didn't happen.

So it was an inside, pottering sort of a day.  We had had our flu jag and Covid booster yesterday so that gave us a good excuse not to do very much.  Then, right at the end of the day (which is happening quite early now), it stopped raining and the sky cleared enough for us to go out for a bit of a walk.
