Today's the day ........................ for souvenirs

I bought this little vase for 5 euros on the last day of our holiday in Ireland.

The place where I got it was not much more than a large shed by the side of the road about a mile from Malin Head.  Apparently, it's the most northerly shop in Ireland, which would make sense as Malin Head is the most northerly point on the mainland.  It goes by the name of The Curiosity Shop and its owner is Peter McAvenue.  He is a lovely man and we spent quite a while chatting to him.  Then I decided on this vase and Will bought something else - and we went on our way.

And, although it didn't cost much, it will always be a reminder of our holiday - and of that conversation with Peter .....................
